What about the name Euclid?

Euclid, often referred to as the “father of geometry,” represents timeless principles of logic, precision, and systematic thinking that remain fundamental to modern education, particularly in the fields of mathematics and science. For universities today, Euclid symbolizes the enduring value of foundational knowledge and intellectual rigor. His work, especially the Elements, provides a framework for problem-solving, critical thinking, and the structured development of ideas—qualities that are essential for academic excellence and innovation. Universities can look to Euclid’s approach as a model for cultivating analytical skills, promoting clarity in communication, and encouraging a deep understanding of core concepts that drive progress across disciplines, from mathematics to engineering, technology, and beyond.
